KPOP NOW – Pann OP claims that an actor parks illegally in front of his apartment all the time

Pann: A celebrity parks illegally all the time, so upsetting

There’s an actor who lives in the apartment next to mine. He just started to become popular from a variety show. He rides a van. There’s a parking lot with lots of spaces but he parks right in front of the apartment all the time so that he can ride easily. Because of that, we hear drivers honking angrily and almost get into car accidents. I tried to leave a message but there’s no phone number on the car. I called his agency but they don’t pick up the phone. Maybe I’ll post on his DC Gallery. Or I should report to the news or reveal his name here. It’s so frustrating. This is the proof picture, I covered the plate number.

1. [+93, -0] It’s the same type and same color of the van from I Live Alone. And if he’s an actor who just started to become popular from a variety show, I can’t think of anyone else besides the actor on I Live Alone.

2. [+81, -2] I can tell who this is. If it were me, I would leave a memo that says, “Do you realize that your illegal parking is almost causing accidents? There are many complaints about it. Being a celebrity doesn’t make you any special. What are the residents supposed to do when you don’t even leave your manager’s phone number? I’m leaving this memo because I couldn’t even contact your agency. If this happens one more time, I’ll publicize it on the Internet or by journalists. Just like how you were picking up the garbage in front of cameras, please have some basic manners in real life, too.”

3. [+76, -3] If he’s indeed the actor from I Live Alone, I’ve always disliked him because I could see that he was trying to look cool and cared about his image so much. He looks fake.

4. [+59, -6] Honestly, I found Sung Hoon likeable when he was on I Live Alone with his personal trainer and doing triathlon. But as time passed, I could see that he was acting fake. His vibes changed and his modest attitude seemed to be disappearing. His fans will call it a hateful comment but it’s my opinion.

5. [+58, -1] I’m not joking. You should reveal his name and make it controversial to make him apologize and wake up. Seeing how he’s doing this when he’s just starting to rise, I can tell his character. He won’t last long.

6. [+49, -11] Do the celebrities drive their vans, though? Isn’t it the managers who do it?

7. [+47, -2] If this is indeed Sung Hoon, does he even have a good image to begin with? When Sung Hoon went to a convenience store after exercising on I Live Alone, the ajumma asked him if he just came from exercising. He then said randomly, “I went to see my grandmother” and left without looking at her. I found his personality questionable. If he meant it to be funny, it wasn’t funny at all.

8. [+37, -5] Once the empty-headed celebrities taste money, they go blind.

9. [+36, -0] Hul… Well, a lot of celebrities have a different image in reality.

10. [+32, -4] If it’s indeed the celebrity that everyone’s talking about, I’ve always disliked him. I really don’t like the vibes from his eyes. I can’t describe it in words but they look dark and cold? It’s my personal thoughts. He’s becoming popular these days but I don’t know why. How is he rising from a variety show when he’s not even funny?

KPOP NOW – Characteristics of a poor family in Korean dramas

Characteristics of a poor family in Korean dramas – K-POP, K-FANS

Characteristics of a poor family in Korean dramas

– Big family with grandparents
– Lives in a house with a backyard in Seoul
– Self-employed
– Every family member has the newest cellphone

Pann: Characteristics of a poor family in Korean dramas

1. [+139, -0] One of the kids works in a professional field.

2. [+116, -0] They’re poor but their outfits change all the time.

3. [+100, -0] Daughter of a poor family falls in love with a son of a rich family ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

4. [+66, -0] They’re poor but they have a lot of side dishes. When they’re finished eating, they bring fruits for dessert and have a chat. The morning is a busy time but they take time to eat and talk.

5. [+45, -0] One of their kids turns out to be a non-legitimate child.

6. [+36, -0] Kim Goeun in Goblin wore several wool coats, too ㅋㅋ

7. [+34, -0] The kids have separate rooms.

8. [+27, -0] They eat together everyday and have a load of side dishes.

9. [+25, -0] They’re poor but they go to a snack cart everyday.

10. [+22, -0] Why do the dramas portray that as poor? That’s not a poor condition at all. A family is considered poor if they’re just a little below chaebol?

11. [+20, -0] Wearing full-makeup and a clean outfit all the time. Their house might be small but they have a bed, a shelf, and everything.

12. [+17, -0] A poor family’s house always has a backyard. How can you have a backyard when you’re poor? The writer is an idiot.

KPOP NOW – Skirt covers on desks – K-POP, K-FANS

Skirt covers on desks – K-POP, K-FANS

Skirt covers on desks

Pann: Skirt covers on desks

1. [+223, -15] Just let them wear pants.

2. [+118, -28] Don’t you have a choice to wear uniform pants, though?
– [+27, -0] My school doesn’t allow it. Girls’ high schools don’t even make pants for uniforms.
– [+26, -0] My school doesn’t allow it unless you have a special circumstance like having a big scar on your thigh. If you wear uniform pants without a reason, you get points deducted.

3. [+87, -14] It looks stuffy.

4. [+56, -2] As a teacher, I think it’s a great idea. Most schools have uniform pants but girls don’t find pants pretty so they don’t wear them. These days, even if a female teacher makes a student wear their uniforms correctly, it could be seen as sexual harassment. It’s an item where both sides can avoid being uncomfortable. Special classes have desks with plastic attached in front. Why not do the same thing to regular desks?

5. [+41, -12] To those who are saying it’s because the skirts are too short… Try wearing a skirt and sitting on a chair for the whole day. Unless the skirt comes down to your knees, it rolls up when you sit. And you end up spreading your legs naturally after a while. Imagine sitting like that for the whole day, ugh.

6. [+40, -76] It’s because the students shorten their skirts too much, tsk tsk. The original uniforms are long, I don’t understand why they criticize the uniforms.

7. [+38, -11] Why criticize the students for a piece of cloth on a desk? They’re at the age to find skirts prettier. Of course they’ll wear skirts. And as they sit, the teacher can see through from the front, which is why the covers are there. How negative do you have to be, tsk tsk.

8. [+30, -3] This will be so much more comfortable to spread your legs ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

9. [+27, -1] I’m sure it’s for the students, but I think it’s also good for the teacher. When I used to work at an academy, I saw a lot of girls who spread their legs intentionally in front of a male teacher. I understand that they’re going through puberty but it was embarrassing.

10. [+20, -1] The covers are so comfortable, why do people criticize it? Universities have those desks, too. It’ll be especially good for students wearing uniforms.

KPOP NOW – Blind item of a rookie female singer who threw rice porridge at her manager

Blind item of a rookie female singer who threw rice porridge at her manager – K-POP, K-FANS

Blind item of a rookie female singer who threw rice porridge at her manager

A rookie female singer H is getting lots of criticisms for her arrogant behavior.
H went through a long period of being a trainee and many struggles. H is paranoid and believes that people around her are not treating her properly. Recently, H shared a waiting room with a famous sunbae I. H ordered her manager to buy her rice porridge. The manager brought her the rice porridge and told her carefully that she should eat a little fast since she was sharing the room with a sunbae. H then said, “Who are you to be ordering me around?!” and threw the rice porridge at the manager. Sunbae I, watching H raging hard, rolled his/her eyes and left the scene.

Article: Female singer gets a bunch of criticisms for throwing rice porridge at her manager in waiting room

Source: Newsen via Naver

1. [+18, -0] Who’s H?

2. [+8, -0] I always feel that a person’s main character is the most important… People like her are mostly influenced by their parents. I’m sure her parents are the same.

3. [+6, -0] Who is this sh*t-headed person? People like her should all be exposed.

Source: Pann

1. [+86, -49] Is she the one who is controversial because of her back-up dancers?
(tn: Somi)

2. [+82, -2] I don’t think it’s Chungha because Chungha debuted as a solo 3 years ago. 3 years is a bit too much to be called a rookie.

3. [+79, -11] Look at the expression “raging hard” ㅋㅋㅋㅋ It’s so easy to kill someone with a blind item.

4. [+44, -0] If this article is false, the journalist will be 100% sued. I doubt the journalist just wrote a bunch of bull. The journalist wrote the article because he had evidence.

5. [+31, -0] Trainee for a long time ㅋㅋㅋㅋ They revealed an important hint. But if it isn’t true, the journalist would be sued.

KPOP NOW – Pros and cons of upper floors and lower floors in high-rise apartments

Pros of upper floors: Nice views. Long sunshine which saves heating fees in winter. No noise.

Cons of upper floors: You’ll feel dizzy if you don’t like heights. You have to wait for the elevator. You’re hopeless if there’s an accident like fire.

Pros of lower floors (1~3): If there’s fire, you can just jump off of the building. You don’t have to wait for the elevator. You can escape quickly if there’s an earthquake.

Cons of lower floors: There could be lots of bugs or/and noises.

Pann: Pros and cons of upper floors and lower floors in apartments

1. [+124, -27] Upper floors are still better than lower floors.

2. [+112, -23] Upper floors: more expensive and sell well. Lower floors: cheap and don’t sell well.

3. [+111, -11] There’s another con of lower floors – thieves. Thieves and robbers have always been a problem. I remember hearing that a woman opened the window in evening and she was facing a guy who was climbing on a gas pipe. She screamed hard to get rid of him. I used to think these things didn’t happen at apartments and only at small buildings, but there are thieves that climb on the pipes to break in. I saw a footage of a thief climbing on the pipe all the way up to the 10th floor. Some thieves target floors that have lights off. If you live on lower floors, you have to beware.

4. [+63, -8] I’ve been living on the first floor for 4 years. It’s 100 times better than living on an upper floor. You just have to shut the blinds to block the people from seeing through. Outside of the window, I can see big trees and hear birds and rains, which is comforting. The view of the upper floor matters only if you care about it. I don’t have to wait for the elevator, I can just walk out to throw out the trash, and there aren’t that many bugs. The pros overweight the cons so I’m satisfied.

5. [+44, -4] If you live in a smoke-free apartment or a car-free apartment (all underground parking), lower floors don’t matter. I used to live on the 18th floor but moved to the first floor because of my kids, and I’m extremely satisfied. I haven’t seen any bug. When I open the curtains in the living room, it looks like a private garden because of all the trees. I was satisfied living on the upper floor but I think lower floors are more charming.

6. [+37, -8] These days, first floors are also expensive because families with kids prefer it.

7. [+30, -3] It’s my first time of living in an apartment (20th floor) after houses. I think upper floors are better. When I see complaints on the community board, all of them are from lower floors. I haven’t smelled any cigarettes and there’s no bug.

8. [+27, -1] What about this con? You don’t have much time to get ready for work or school. You leave and realize you forgot your umbrella or something, so you have to wait for the elevator to come back, which is stressful. This is why I prefer lower floors.

KPOP NOW – Feeling the ancient history of Egypt

Extinction of mammoths – 1000 years after the Pyramid was built

When the Pyramid was being built – Korea was just entering the Bronze Age

During the Roman Empire, the Pyramid was already an ancient relic

The period before the birth of Cleopatra is longer than the period between Cleopatra’s death ~ present day

The ancient kingdom of Egypt is divided by 3 ages. Each age is longer than the period of Three Kingdoms ~ Joseon in Korean history

Modern people: Wow, ancient people made that? Amazing!

People 1000 years ago: Wow, ancient people made that? Amazing!

People 2000 years ago: Wow, ancient people made that? Amazing!

People 3000 years ago: Wow, ancient people made that? Amazing!

People 4000 years ago: We have to make that? Us?

Pann: Feeling the history of Egypt

1. [+187, -0] How do Egyptians learn their history?

– [+87, -1] Do Egyptians also have to study their history to become public servants? They’ll go crazy after trying to memorize everything.

– [+12, -0] They must be dividing the history by every 1000 years

– [+16, -0] The Korean history textbook is divided by Part 1 and Part 2, but the Egyptians must have up to Part 8… Their long history aside, they have Mesopotamia, Persia, Greece, and Rome interacting historically, and there’s the war of religions… They must have so much to learn.

2. [+118, -2] So interesting ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Honestly, I believe the Pyramid was built by aliens.

3. [+89, -0] The last picture is so funny ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

4. [+59, -0] There are writings from the Roman Empire and they complain about how they get ripped off when they visit Egypt’s Pyramid. It was before the common era but the Egyptian remains were already considered ancient relics. Just like how we visit the Pyramid for a tour, the Romans also went to Egypt for a tour.

5. [+52, -0] How did they make that… Especially the pointy top… How did they built that???

6. [+45, -0] They’re really lucky to have amazing ancestors…

7. [+35, -1] The current Egypt isn’t the amazing ancient Egypt. Egypt was ruined and swapped with immigrants. The Egyptian population was either massacred or moved faraway. After that, other people took advantage of the empty land, who are the ancestors of the current Egyptians. They had nothing to do with the amazing ancient Egypt. They rode on a free ride.

8. [+32, -0] As time passes, the people also develop further but Egypt seems to be going backwards. I was so shocked when they were fixing the destroyed parts of the Pyramid by plastering.

9. [+28, -0] Greeks used to go to the Pyramid and said these lazy Egyptians were earning money off of their ancestors. Ironically, Greece is in that exact same situation right now.

10. [+28, -0] Is there a time machine? Or aliens must’ve made it. It’s just amazing.

KPOP NOW – Handsome Youtuber gets a sexual sponsor deal via Instagram DM

I’m contacting you because she wanted a really handsome one. A chaebol woman in her 30’s is willing to pay $20,000 for an overnight date + sex. Are you interested? The privacy will be protected for sure, and there’s the identity of the client, so you don’t have to worry about getting exposed. Usually, these paid dates range from $5,000 to $10,000. $20,000 is a rare offer to even celebrities. I believe it’s a deal that you won’t lose anything to. I’d appreciate it if you’re interested.

“A lot of people send me DMs, I don’t answer back but I read them. I’m posting this DM that I got today because even after blocking and reporting it, I was still upset. No matter how lonely you are, let’s try to live a clean life.” #Don’tWantItAtAll #RobotHasFeelingsToo

Pann: Instagram DM that a handsome Youtuber got today

1. [+110, -3] Girls also get those. I’m a non-celebrity in my 20’s and I got a DM like that. I felt disgusted. Horny idiots.

2. [+76, -0] A lot of people in their 20’s and 30’s pay money to have fun with pretty and handsome ones. Chaebols, professionals, well-known CEOs…

3. [+54, -1] If you read the comments on the post, you can spot jealous men ㅋㅋㅋㅋ They sound sarcastic and are like, “Everybody gets that” “It’s a spam” “I got one, too” “What kind of chaebol would contact like that?” “Embarrassing that he’s making a big fuss out of it” ㅋㅋㅋㅋ They don’t want to admit that he got the DM because he’s handsome. Ugly ones have a bad personality, too, ugh.

4. [+49, -1] Daebak, you get those if you’re handsome?

5. [+31, -0] If you agree to take the deal, they might use your agreement as a threat.

6. [+26, -0] $20,000 for one date, wow… How much money does she have?

7. [+14, -0] Isn’t he the Youtuber who was preparing to become a policeman?

8. [+13, -0] It might be fake. If he replied and said yes, they could’ve taken a screenshot of it and spread it to ruin his image.
